Instructor: This course is instructed by Senior Deputy District Attorney, Scott Healy.
Sr. DDA Healy has been with the District Attorney's Office in the Portland, Oregon metro region since 1994. Mr. Healy is an excellent speaker and presenter with experience in many aspects of courts, hearings, trials and testimony. Sr. DDA Healy has handled virtually every type of case from murder (death penalty) and other high profile/serious cases to DUII and minor thefts. He has experience in Psychiatric Security Review Boards, Parole Board Hearings, Mental Health Court, Driving Under the Influence Court, District and Circuit Courts. He has instructed for the National District Attorneys Association, the Oregon/Washington Lawmen's Association and the Clackamas Community College as an Adjunct Instructor since 2000. He has also been a presenter at the NCDA Special Prosecutions Course on the topic of "Special Witness Strategies".
